About Me

I have worked in research and industry settings in the area of controlled environment horticulture since 2015. From high tunnels to vertical farms, I have collaborated with lighting companies, analytical chemistry laboratories, and technically diverse teams to conduct research and deliver recommendations on all aspects of plant growth and quality from seed selection to post-harvest. I enjoy creating value-added products that benefit both producer and consumer as well as optimizing production practices for a more resource efficient operation.

My research and industry work has garnered experience in data sensor placement and density for farms, food sensory analysis, statistical data analysis, high-throughput phenotyping, teaching and curriculum development, pest management, farm design, and integrating business needs into plant science solutions and production strategies particularly for vegetable crops.

While I’m happy to discuss opportunities for consulting on a case by case basis to determine how I can best support your needs, the focus areas outlined below highlight areas of experience I have from academic and industry positions and can serve as a starting point for identifying needs.
